Introduction
After watching various animes, I came upon this anime, Da Capo. It was an average anime that certainly offers some good perspective in life. Yet, I find it strange it had so many seasons to it, four in total. Usually, I would expect only animes that is really good to have that many seasons so this anime was a surprise. But with four relatively good storyline but it a way not so unique, it was something that was worth watching.
Review
Story
As mentioned, there are four seasons to this anime and each season has its own storyline. The focal point of the anime is the conflicting view of happiness and how it is achieved. Imagine that you can have any one wish that would make you happy. Now think about the consequences that would occur because of that wish. Knowing all the bad things that wish would create, would you still be happy? Clearly though, this theme is not all that unique or new. But oh well, what do you expect from a harem?
Characters
Personally, I thought the characters were now really that well developed and many were so oridinary and unoriginal that it became quite boring. Yet, for some reason, I kinda liked the way the characters interact with each other. It does seem like to be a very well tight knit group that seems somewhat realistic or at least ideal.
Animation
Not great but good enough especially with the later seasons. I would have liked better details instead of using so much of the blurry effect. However, the cherry blossom trees were truly beautiful.
Sound
I am trying to think of any song that I liked from this anime but I couldn't think of any. I don't recall it being bad though so it would be average like the rest of this anime.
Conclusion
As you can see, my review of this anime is very short and some would probably say incomplete. But, keeping with that theme, I'll keep this short as well. Overally, this anime was okay and worth watching. However, don't expect the world from it.
